MY CHOICE Anti-crime Triple Pledge
Before taking the No Guns, No Drugs, No Bullying oath, Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar explained
the importance of pledging and how it can help to reduced juvenile crime. “But if you are not willing to
abide by the promise, you may step aside." Every child stood boldly. They committed to remaining drug
free and violent free while parents and well wishers looked on proudly.
ROTC Christopher Tory administered the oath.
My Choice Association, Inc. awarded two trophies;
St. Helen’s Catholic Church
for the largest youth church group and to Feed the Lambs Enrichment Program, Inc.
for the largest youth organization.
The program cultimated
with Deputy Goodman
asking children questions
about the pledge. A
of gift cards were won
as children anxiously
answered her questions.
Children Packed Gifford Youth Activity Center Saturday,
August 27th, and left with new back-to-school supplies and
new attitudes - "No Guns, No Drugs, No Bullying"
